AAUW of Oregon Fall Conference 2007

Pat Lehman (Seaside), Programs Vice President, presented “Embracing and Effecting Change” morning workshop at the Eugene Eagles Aerie on Saturday, Sep. 29, 2007.

Mardy Stevens (Gresham), President AAUW of Oregon, chaired the two afternoon meetings.

Dynamic speaker Cheryl Caplan, Roseburg’s President, presented “Facilitating a Group to Achieve Your Objectives.”

Mardy Stevens, state president, and Judy Houk (Lake Oswego), state historian set up the computer to show the 6 minute DVD provided by the American Association of University Women.


Barbara Paulson, EF Chair, answered questions about the Educational Foundation (EF).

Diana Quirk (Ashland), District Director, gave her report on the South District.

Barbara Paulson (Grants Pass) proposed changes/merges regarding Educational Foundation and Legal Advocacy Fund positions.

Members socialized during breaks.

Leaders and members networked during continental breakfast, breaks, and lunch.
